Killer fashion is a really (short) but interesting non-fiction books about incidents or deaths caused by items of fashion. Very anxiogenous!

And then we have 4 series of manga: Kekkaishi is a fantasy/historical story so underrated; Kobato is from the well know CLAMP, the story is a sad one, but the artwork are amazing; and then Kiss and Never cry, another sad story based on ice skating. I made, some years ago, the cosplays of both Kobato and Kekkaishi!

Memorable books:

Inuyasha, by Rumiko Takahashi: I had to include Inuyasha to this challenge, it was one of my fave manga when I began reading it, nearly 10 years ago.

L’isola della paura (Shutter Island) by Dennis Lehane: my fave thriller of all the time, the movie is so well done, I absolutely love Di Caprio role.

Io Uccido (I kill) by Giorgio Faletti: one of the first thriller/crime books for adults I ever read. It was mindblowing.

Intervista col vampiro (Interview with the vampire) by Anne Rice: one of the best vampire book on the planet. And have you seen the movie? The costumes are fabulous.

Memorable books:

The Hound of the Baskerville by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle: still my favourite adventure with Sherlock Holmes!

Hour of mischief by Aimee Hyndman: a funny adventure, one of my first Book Blog tour!

Honey and Clover by Chica Umino: this manga series of 10 volumes is a bittersweet tale of friendship and love, art and human relations. I love it so much.

Holy cow by David Duchovny: it seems that the only person who liked this book is me. I don’t care.

 

Books on my TBR:

It seems that The Hanged Man is the first in a series that is incomplete.

And Hag-seed? Everyone talks positively about it!

Memorable books:

Gone girlgirl was an amazing thriller, but I didn’t like the movie so much.

Global garden is a really strange and original manga, but it’s also sweet.

Godchild is a work of Kaori Yuki, less famous then Angel Sanctuary, but with a great plot.

Il Grande Inverno is the second part of A Game Of Thrones. They printed the books all separated, then decided to re printed them with better covers and reunited.

To Be Read Books:

I’m totally in love with the cover of Ghost Talkers, and I can’t wait to read Greenglass House!

Memorable books:

Il figlio del cimitero (The graveyard book) by Neil Gaiman: how deliciously creepy is this book? One of my fave by Gaiman!

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell: this was the first book that I ordered from BookDepository, and the first book I read in English.

Few are chosen by Storm Grant: an M/M fantasy book full of dark humour. Love it.

Flights and chimes and mysterious times by Emma Trevayne: this is one of the best Steampunk books I ever read. And the cover is a piece of art.

To be read books:

I’m so in love with the cover of The Flaw in all magic, and The five seems so interesting!

I didn’t have a lot of books with the letter E! O___O

Emma (Victorian Romance Emma) by Kaoru Mori: a lovely and delicate manga about a British maid and her love for the son of a wealthy family. I watched all the anime series, and it’s one of my fave.

Excel Saga by Koshi Rikudo: I didn’t finish the manga series, but the anime was hilarious!

Empath by S. Usher Evans: a 5 star rating fantasy that I received through a giveaway. It’s very underrated, and it’s a shame.

Eyes Like Stars  –  Eric  –  Edison: The mystery of the missing mouse treasure

Del Toro Moon by Darky Karchut: a wonderful cover for a beautiful story!

Descendants of Darkness by Yoko Matsushita: Yami no Matsuei is the original title of this wonderful series interrupted many years ago.

Demoni, istruzioni per l’uso by Christopher Moore: I love the italian cover of Practical Demonkeeping, and the story is so funny!

La Detective by Y.S.Lee: no one knows this series (A spy in the house) except me. But I love it.

And my TBR books:

The diviners by Libba Bray: I heard everyone talking about how amazing is this book. Can’t wait to read it!

Delia’s Shadow by Jaime Lee Moyer: a dark mystery historical fiction set in San Francisco with a dark and atmospheric cover.

The Dinosaur Lords by Victor Milan: I know, the GR rating isn’t very high…but dinosaurs!!

A Deadly affection by Cuyler Overholt: again, I love historical fiction with a little of mystery, paranormal and gothic.

My selection of Favourites books:

The Chess Queen Enigma(Stoker & Holmes #3) by Colleen Gleason: A steampunk series featuring the niece of Sherlock Holmes and the sister of Bram Stoker, with gorgeous covers!

Coraline by Neil Gaiman: Coraline is one of the few books that really scares me. I re-read it recently, perfect for the Halloween mood.

Il Coperchio del mare (Umi No Futa) by Banana Yoshimoto: an italian title for this beautiful book.

Cacciatori di Vampiri (The rest falls away/The Gardella Vampire Hunters #1) by Colleen Gleason: this is the first adult series about vampires that I’ve read, a long time ago. I still need to finish the series.

My TBR books:

The Carnelian Crow (Stoker & Holmes #4) by Colleen Gleason: can’t wait to read this book, and the last of the series will be out in 2019.

La Cacciatrice di anime(First grave on the right) by Darynda Jones: I added this book after the recommendations of other bloggers!

The Casquette girls by Alys Arden: I’ve heard a lot of beautiful things about this book!

Cat Out of hell by Lynne Truss: the goodreads rating isn’t high, but I’m still interested in it.

My memorable books:

 

After School Nightmare by Setona Mizushiro: a series of 10 volumes, really interesting, with horror and psychological aspect. The series is complete, if you are interested.

Amabili Resti (The Lovely Bones) by Alice Sebold: I cried a lot with this book, and I cried a lot during the movie, expecially for the relationship between Susie and her father. I loan to my father, and he cried too. One of my fave books of all the time.

American Gods by Neil Gaiman: I admit it: american gods it’s not an easy book, and it’s not for everyone. My father didn’t finish it, but I loved it. I watched only the first 2 episode of the Tv series.

Acne, asthma and other signs you might be half dragon by Rena Rocford: I love books with long and extravagant titles!! This was an ARC of some years ago, but I still remember the title very well.

 

TBR books:

 

Archangel’s kiss by Anna Santos: I found it on Amazon for free, and I love the cover. Hope it’s good.

All’anima della musica (Soul Music) by Terry Pratchett: another book in the Discworld series! Unfortunately, they’ve translated in italian only 10/12 books.

And the trees crept in by Dawn Kurtagich: the cover is really fascinating, but it seems that the Goodreads rating is low. Have you read it?

Allegedly by Tiffany D. Jackson: I tried to not post only horror books in this section! But I only hear positive things about Allegedly, and it has an high rating on GR!
