Wrap Up: November 2020

Hello readers, sorry if I’m late for this wrap up!

In November I’ve read 10 books, without a DNF! Hurrà!!

5 stars:

Do you know Robert the Doll?? He’s a haunted/cursed doll, not as famous as Annabelle the Doll, but his story is a creepy one. This middle grade is really interesting and has gave me chills.

I love Amelia Fang so much!!! This second volume of her adventures is even better than the first one!

La Spada del guerriero is the Italian edition of Magnus Chase and the sword of summer. I’ve loved Magnus, Riordan is always a great writer.

4 stars:

I’ve loved This is going to hurt, by the same author, so Twas the nightshift before Christmas was funny and sad and entartaining, but too short for me.

Killer fashion was so interesting, it was a shame that the chapters were so short.

Usually I didn’t like retellings, but The Wizard of Oz is one of the few fairytales I like, and I really liked Spelled, this funny and unconventional retelling of Oz. And I’m so in love with the cover!

3 stars:

A graphic novel!About books!!

1 Star:

Two fo these books are from some of my fave authors, and I don’t know if is my fault or not.

The collection of short stories is not my cup of tea, and Unnatural Creatures, featuring a story by Neil Gaiman, is no exception.

I fell in love with the previous book of Emma Trevayne, but The Accidental Afterlife of Thomas Marsden was boring and nothing like I was predicted.

The railway detective is probably the most boring historical crime fiction I ever read. Love the vintage cover btw.

And that was my reading month!

How was yours? Tell me in the comments!

Christmasathon TBR

Hello readers, we have made it to December!

Today I’m here to show you my tentative TBR for the Christmasathon a readathon that runs from 1st of December to 31st December.

You can find all the informations on the Twitter profile, I will participate for TEAM ELF!!! I was in doubt, because I love both Elf and The Grinch so much, but I think I have more books suitable for the prompts of Team Elf.

If you see more than one book for prompt, is because I can’t still decide.

Read a book with a Christmas Theme:

Read a book with red or white on cover:

Read a book that was gifted to you:

Read a book with an animal on the cover:

Read a book you recently purchased:

A lot of colorful covers! What’s your favorite?
