Alice’s adventures Book Tag

This tag was made by Falling down the book hole for the Down the read – a – thon hole reading challenge.

Enjoy!

Alice in Wonderland:  A book that makes you think of your childhood.

Night of the living dummy by R.L. Stine. Yes I know, I was a creepy child.

Caucus Race: A book with a race or competition you enjoyed.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire!

Through the Looking Glass: An Alice in Wonderland Retelling you have read or your favorite Alice retelling.

I just finished Curiouser and Curiouser by Melanie Karsak, but I didn’t like it. Alice in Zombieland is another retelling, but it was just meh.

Knave of Hearts:  A book about thieves

Otto Von Trapezoid and the Empress of thieves by Jesse Baruffi is hilarious!

White Rabbit:  A popular book you are late to the party for

The hate you give. I think I have the ebook, maybe I read it this year.

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum: Your favorite sequel

The sands of time by Michael Hoeye, sequel of Time stops for no mouse.

Pool of Tears: A book that makes you cry

The lovely bones by Alice Sebold.

Caterpillar: A book in which the character reminds you of yourself

I’m currently reading Wonder and Auggie reminds me a little of myself. But also Bilbo Baggins reminds me of myself. I miss my books. And my armchair.

Mad Hatter:  A book with a love story

Die Love Rise by my friend Rosa Campanile!

March Hare: A book dealing with a mental illness

Under Rose tainted skies deals with social anxiety and OCD.

The Dormouse:  An underrated/under-hyped book

Practical Demonkeeping by Christopher Moore. (Isn’t a tag worth it if I didn’t mention Moore at least one time.)

“Eat Me” Cakes:  A book with a magical element

Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder.

Flowers of Wonderland:  A book that involves music

In I diari degli angeli by John Peter Sloan, Jesus is a rockstar. That counts, right?

Queen of Hearts:  A book with a villain

The Darkling from Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo.

The Bandersnatch:  A book with a mystical creature

The Percy Jackson series is a good choice here.

Down The Rabbit Hole: A book someone else recommended to you

A ex friend of mine recommended me Dracula in Love by Karen Essex, a horrible retelling of Dracula. That’s (and other things too) why she’s no longer my friend.

Walrus & the Carpenter: A collection of essays, short stories or poems

Bones is the garden by McKayla Debonis is a collection of poems about a lost love and a broken heart.

The Jabberwocky: A book with a battle/fight scene

The Hobbit by Tolkien has a lot of fighting scene (the dragon, the spiders) and the battle of the five armies. *crying on the floor*

The Playing Cards: A book with a group of characters

A game of thrones by George R.R. Martin.

Tea Party: A book based in England/UK

I finished Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch, set in London, of course!

The Cheshire Cat:  A mystery book

The Hound of the Baskerville by Conan Doyle.
